As a spin-off company of the University of Ferrara, Materiacustica srl is allowed to use facilities and instrument of the Laboratory of Acoustics of the Engineering Department.
- Anechoic and hemi-anechoic chamber: size 10.5 x 9.5 x 8.3 m and cut-off frequency 50 Hz;
- Listening room for psyco-acoustical tests;
- Test rigs for the acoustical, physical and mechanical characterization of materials;
- Measurement equipment for building acoustics tests;
- Measurement equipment for enviromental noise monitoring;
- Measurement equipment for room acoustics;
- Measurement equipment for vibration.
- Ongoing project: Coupled chambers for sound reduction index measurement (ISO 140 series)
- Ongoing project: Reverberant chamber for sound absorption (ISO 354) and scattering tests
- Ongoing project: Reverberant chamber coupled with small anechoic room for sound transmission loss tests on small components
